Trinity Operating

Is anyone aware of something different happening with Trinity? I did not receive a check this month and I’m wondering if everything is OK.

Several things may be happening.
-Was your normal check close to either $100 or $25. If your accrued royalty goes below the minimum stated in your Division Order, then the funds will accrue until they reach your minimum. -Was the well near its end of life? -There might have been mechanical trouble or a well being fracked nearby -The well may have been sold to someone else and the lag is normal. Wait a month and see what happens.

Thank you, Martha. No, it has not been at the lower end of the checks… They are generally over $1000. I don’t know if it’s at the end of its life. I did call them and missed their return call and I’m hoping to hear something on Monday.

Hopefully they can clear it up.

Martha, they say I was overpaid and the account is in arrears and when more comes in, it will start paying again. Does that make sense to you?

Yes, it can happen when they do an audit and find out something that gives them new information about title or payments. Ask them for an exact accounting in a spreadsheet of how much was overpaid and when they expect to pay again.

Some operators will give you the spreadsheet and others will not. You will probably not get any statements during the payback time, so that is annoying! You can watch the production on the OK Tax site.
