Tract Description Help

Can somebody decode this tract description for me: S/2 SE/4 and NE/4 SE/4 and S/2 NW/4. This one may be about one tract.

The last tract is Sec 6-8n-3w which I can read. All in McClain County.

And is there a way to look for non-dispersed royalties on a tract or owner name? Would McClain County Clerks Office have any info other than owner name?

You translate by reading each aliquot. The South half of the SE quarter which is 80 gross acres AND the North East quarter of the Southeast quarter which is 40 gross acres AND the South half of the Northwest quarter which is 80 gross acres. If it goes with section 6 or 8N-3W then it describes acreage in that section. Each township is divided up into four quarter sections of 160 acres each. Your net acres may differ according to probates or sales.

You would need to look up the wells in that section and see if there are any in those areas and contact the operator. However, there are only two dry holes in that section which were plugged and abandoned. One was in the Southwest quarter and one was in the NE quarter. Neither were in the acreage described and they were dry even if they were.
