So EOG resources has 7 wells now on my property and 5 of those have been producing for a yr now. No division order yet. I have a lease with them. Is it normal for companies to take longer than a year to do a title opinion. My title is clear why dont they pay? They are now going to have to pay the 12% on top of what they owe me right? How long do they get to profit before they pay due royalties? Thanks and frustrated.
I would call or email their division order dept. Getting 12% on your money is not all bad.
Hutch…We wrote a registered letter to both of their locations and they returned the receipt. I told them what the location and name of the well was and told them we were wondering when we could expect the DO’s, the first check and our 12% interest. I haven’t received a reply yet. It’s been about 8 months now but like we said we wouldn’t care if it’s a lot longer as long as we get the good interest. I don’t believe we could have over a couple of acres there anyway as it’s been divided between several heirs over the years. It certainly won’t make or break us for sure. lol
