We just signed leases and received the bonus payment. Does anyone know how long it generally takes to put a well into production (not real sure on my terms here) and then to receive the royalty payments if the well produces?
Maybe never! Some lessees tie up the property and hope to drill. If they drill, you will be notified of what they are doing…about 6 months to a year later you might receive a royalty check.
