If the rig is small, it is probably drilling out the surface casing hole. They need a big rig to get to the Woodford.

It’s possible they are drilling a vertical hole with a smaller rig just to make sure the prospective pay zone is there and has good saturation. With my limited geological experience I’m not excited about Woodford here. Hope I’m wrong. Maybe something uphole.
Went outside this morning rig is laid down moving off. Looks like they just drilled and cased surface hole and moving off. Edge Services Woodward was the contractor. Former horizontal well driller rig all hydraulic.
Little rig drilled and set surface. Tank battery is complete. Waiting on rotary.
