I received a lease offer from Thunderbird Natural Resources for 21-11N-12W back in June. I was working with a landman from Blue River Resources. We went back and forth on the Exhibit and I returned the executed lease on June 20th. I have since discovered that Thunderbird halted this project and is no longer leasing in that area. I still have not received a lease bonus from Thunderbird or a reply from the landman at Blue River. I’m assuming this is most likely not going to come to fruition but wondering if anyone else has recently leased that area or received an actual payment from Thunderbird? Thanks in advance.

It happens. Ask them to return the lease for nonpayment. You do not want a signed lease out there. Certified letter return receipt. I see at least three leases filed in that section by Thunderbird, but your name is not there.

Thank you @M_Barnes. I finally received a reply today and have requested the lease back. They said they were planning to rescind offers but hadn’t sent those out yet. Seems that they’ve just been sitting on these but hopefully will have that returned soon.

Thanks for your post, as the same happened with me, my brothers and sister. They now have a letter rescinding the lease along with their original signed leases, but I didn’t get those. They first claimed never to have received my executed lease, but, as I had spoken several times with the land man clarifying heirs, while he never said mine wasn’t received, I questioned that. Now they say they show email receipt of my executed lease in May, have a scanned copy, but have misplaced the original. I’ve asked for at least a letter confirming the lease was rescinded. Odd situation for sure. Hope you have no issues getting your executed lease back.
