The Thorny Roses (sec 38, block 5) started production in 2023, with the first payment being made in 2024. I received 2024 tax appraisals for 8 of the 9 wells this year. I finally received the 9th appraisal in April. I just happened to look up my Reeves tax account and 7 of them show a 2024 tax bill, with penalties and interest accruing as of July 1. The other 2 Thorny Roses aren’t showing up under my name yet. I didn’t receive a mailed tax notice and neither did my sister. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I thought Reeves was finally getting their tax act together.
