The numbers don't lie. So far in nigh 10 years, the average well has produced only 1 BCF and nearly 6,000 wells have been produced. Few exceed the 1 BCF level and I have seen a number of wells that are already shut in and will not meet those 40 year life so touted by some in the industry.
