Can anybody point me to information that explains what happens to mineral liens after the Operator/Lessee files Chapter 7 Bankruptcy? An Adversary Proceeding found that the Oil and Gas Lease had in fact terminated by its own terms months before the Lessee filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. The Chapter 7 Bankruptcy was closed a few months after the "No Asset" Report was filed. Any help determining if the mineral liens still exist will be greatly appreciated.
