Hi- My gas lease company says they use the “Tetco M2 first of the month” index to calculate our royalties each month. Does anyone know where these prices are published? I can’t find it online.
Thank you for the link. I found that, but was unable to find a month by month (for the last two years) listing of theTetco M2 first of the month. I have been getting royalties for the last two years, they have paid royalties based on prices as low as 1.64 for natural gas. I never seen a price that low published anywhere. Thanks again, still searching.
Keep in mind that many operators have specific contracts with carriers, so even though they may use a certain list as a guide, it may not be the actual number that is used for your royalties.
