I received a letter stating that my minerals were included in a temp spacing unit, way back in Oct 2011. Recently, I noticed that there is a well permit for Sinclair oil, with the well path going into my section. Sinclair isn't the company that owns the spacing unit, and the well isn't going to be on my section, just the well path. What does this mean?
Teri, the operator in control of your spacing could have entered a cooperative agreement with Sinclair, alternatively, Sinclair could have gained control of your spacing through assignment/s and the world has not yet caught up to the news.
