Recently received our first checks on the well. There is a ND tax taken out. Since I am out of state, I need to know if I just file in my state or is there more I need to do in ND.

i am just a mineral owner in ND. and we file ND state taxes for our trust as a composite return. our income has been low to this point but we file every year. we expect to use an accountant next year for ND taxes.
This is a new and noticed that taxes were taken out of our payment! It isn’t a substantial amount but was concerned about filing there too!
