Taxes and Redemption on Mineral Rights

Hello! I’ve been having trouble with two parcels that were left to me in Liberty Township in Marshall County, West Virginia. I received a notice that my parcels were auctioned off because of failure to pay taxes (I had moved and I wasn’t receiving my tax bill). I had a chance to redeem them so I paid to get them back and thought it was a done deal. I found out that I redeemed one of my parcels, but accidentally redeemed someone else’s parcel. So, my other parcel went to the person who bought it. I spoke to the West Virginia Assessor’s office to see if they could fix the error, and they told me there wasn’t anything they can do. I’ve tried speaking to a few attorneys, but I can’t seem to get anyone interested in my situation. I’m thinking of selling my parcel and just be done with it. How do I go about doing that? Do I have any recourse for the parcel that I lost? Thank you for any input/advice.

Thank you!
