As expected, Surprise Valley has begun assigning leases to Comstock. In a document recorded on January 25 in Leon County, Surprise Valley assigned 106 leases to Comstock. I haven’t checked yet, but I assume these leases are in and around the unit for the well that Comstock recently permitted in Leon County.
Lots more assignments to go, since Surprise Valley has written about 1,800 leases in Leon County.
