I have 20.2 surfaces acres in Ward county. (Sec 28, lot 17 block 1) I have owned it about 25 years. Do you or anyone know if anything is or has been going on in that area in the last 20 years.

Hi Caroline, your property appears to be in Abstract A-874. It doesn’t look like any pipelines or wells cross your property (blue rectangle sketch on texas Oil & Gas RRC map).
I have found that the RRC pipeline data is only approximate. Large pipelines file a planned route and if it changes may not change the information. I have had a company refuse to update the pipeline to an adjacent section. Also, the small gathering lines are generally not filed with RRC.
