I recently purchased some land for hunting purposes. I did not get minerals in the transaction. Purchased from individual who had purchased the land from Ranch last year. Ranch retained minerals. I was contacted by Ranch manager/owner last evening about testing (drilling samples) for coal. Not sure what my rifghts are as surface owner if coal is found and mineral owner wants to mine. Any advise?
