Hello, Lately we have been receiving offers to purchase our surface land (undivided interest shares without mineral rights) with specific offers and return forms to complete and return by a certain date. I have no idea how to know the value of undivided surface land shares throughout various counties in Oklahoma other than to hire an appraiser. I’m assuming these offers are low or is the market hot right now? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.
Surface offers would be in the real estate realm and not really applicable to the minerals forum. Get professional help before selling those properties. I get a lot of those types of offers and just throw them in the trash.
