Stipulation of interest and cross conveyance form

I need this form for my step sister and step-brother to sign, as the transfer of ownership needs to be corrected. The oil and gas company advised that this form must be completed and filed with the county before any updates can be made. Can anyone help me with this form so I can get this signed and filed? I also need to send it via e-signature.

Unless you are an oil and attorney or landman, I recommend you have a professional draft this document. Lot’s of ways to making a mistake and/or not making the conveyance perfectly clear for title purposes.

I’m a retired landman and have had many jobs curing title problems from poorly drafted conveyances and assignments.

This is good advice. You should not sign a stipulation of interest and cross-conveyance prepared by the oil company without review by your attorney licensed in the state where the minerals are located. If the oil company made a mistake, then you will be stuck with the results. Your siblings may also want to have their own attorney review.

Ask the oil and gas company to send you a microsoft word version template that you can change and use.

I need this document to give to the oil and gas company to clarify that my step sister and step brother do not have any rights to the mineral rights. They have already agreed to sign it but the oil company won’t do anything until we have this filed. The land was purchased.when my father and deceased mom were married.

I need to correct this. The land was purchased in Texas when my adopted mother was alive with my adopted father. My father remarried, which is my stepmother who raised me from 1st grade up. it is a long story but I put deceased adopted mom and recently my stepmother passed. We only need the form to clarify who the mineral rights were intended for. It is clear in the documentation that I have but the oil and gas company says they have to have this form.
