If you called the county clerk and asked her to page a landman or abstractor, they will likely take you on as a client. Expect to pay at an absolute minimum of $50.00 per hour.

Thanks Buddy, I have recently hired an attorney to try and help me find out what exactly I am being transferred into my name by my Mother but am not experienced with how an Abstract is created, does it follow an person or a tract of land from the beginning to date? We thought my Mother had transferred it ALL in 2002 but the 2 newest oil/gas companies are saying that my Mother still has interests in Payne, OK. So how would an Title Opinion or Abstract work?
