Robert - I think that you meant S1 and S12, but there are five (5) Wells being drilled at this point in time all spud between 06/08/15 and 07/31/15.
In the Oklahoman today: Newfield, Hatchett no. 1H-33XR, sec. 4, 2n4w=689 bbls of oil, 548,000 cu. ft. gas, total depth 19,010. Another good ern! Congrats!
Linda - What I believe that Preston may have seen was a âdelayedâ Completion Report for the Poteet 8-17-20XH Well that was at a minimum in the Tulsa World on 09/09/15.
Are you Poteet owners getting another well? Hubby read yesterday in Oklahoma what he said he thought was another Intent to drill for a Poteet. Unfortunately he gave his paper away before leaving the coffee shop without bringing me that part. Gonna have to fire him from his snooping job. lol
BAXENDALE-WOODFORD unitization S1 andS2 T2N R4Wâany new developments since Okla corp Comm order effective April 16 2015?
ROBERT R
From what I have been hearing some of the oil companies are still going to go ahead and drill their wells but might wait on fracing and completing them until the prices of oil go up. Just going to use the ground for storage, I guess. Might not be a bad idea for all concerned except those in the fracing business and completion crews. Might hurt them for a while but better in the long run. Whatâs you guys thinking on this?
Robert,
Based on spud dates, there is a good chance the drilling is finished and they are waiting on completion.
Linda & MichaelâI certainly agree. Iâm much rather wait for better prices even if itâs a couple years. But can the companies do that? Isnât there some deadline to produce thatâs in the lease contracts?
KathlynâŚI donât knowâŚI know they are supposed to have that 6 month deadline to start paying you after the well is completed and they make their first sale but I donât know if they have a deadline to complete them. Youâll have to ask someone else with more knowledge than I which shouldnât be hard to find. lol
Intents to drill in the Oklahoman this morning: The Hunter 4 and 5-13X in Stephens Co.
Linda, thats better than âgivingâ the oil and gas away⌠The prices need to be higher. it makes sense!
Mr. Hutchinson, Sorry I just barely saw your post. I understand. I just wish I would receive something. I got a letter back in April 2014 for pooling. Has anyone got division orders on the HK DOOM 19 1S 4W? I noticed that Chevron has recompleted a bunch and how long should it be before the royalties are paid on those? Who ever answers theseâŚthank you in advance.
If there is real intent to drill on section 16 anytime soon, what would be the next paperwork Iâd see? They filed all those cause CDs for 16-2N-5W, but all is quiet since. Iâm old - Iâm anxious, LOL!
BOY, look at that price of oil go up today!!! GO BABY GO!!! Last look for WTI was up by $2.55.

After persistant communications & emails with Marathon I finally received a single payout amount in May. The check came in mid July without signing any DO. I finally got them to send me the DO mid August. I sent them an email on 6 current operating wells within 19 1S 4W that they had no knowledge of. Marathon says to expect response 6 to 8 weeks on email request. I guess what I am saying is that Marathon may not have their act together. I would stay on top of Marathon with documented phone calls and emails . If you need some Marathon names and numbers, let me know.
HBP=Held By Production
Thank you! I understand that is when the energy company can continue operation of a well past the lease expiration date if it is producing a minimal amount.
M Barnes, While were speaking of held by production. How does it work when you are HBP. How exactly does that work? How do you get paid for the new production that is within your unitizations?
K. DawnâŚuntil M. Barnes can give you the full and correct answer I will try to give you what I THINK I know about it. (HBP) When they are going to drill a well on the land where your minerals are and that land/minerals already has a producing well on it from earlier they do not have to pay you the LEASING bonus because they paid it to the people that owned it before that first well was drilled (which may or may not have been you). They do, however, pay you what percentage you own from any of these new wells they drill. (They just donât pay you to lease it again as long as it has a producing well on it). I hope I said that right and didnât confuse. If so, M Barnes or some of these other good people on here will correct, please.
Barbara, the pooling order gave them one year to spud the well (as of July 27, 2015). The next paperwork (but you wonât get it mailed to you) is the permit to drill. However, you can watch for it yourself as it is posted on the OCC website.

It will spud in 16, so type in 1602N05W in the location box. You are looking for the form labeled 1000. (It is not there yet.)
http://imaging.occeweb.com/AP/CaseFiles/occ5208984.pdf gives a picture of the potential well location.
Given current prices, they may stall until next year as things start to creep up again.
