What is current status?
Now they are saying Highway 39 and County Road 2910 east of Chickasha for the fireā¦Iām not sure if they know where itās at for sure.
About 10-15 trucks on both sides of the oil rig fire that have burned as well as a crane. Said now that it may have been a frac job. No reports of injuries yetā¦thank the Lord! The fire is at the Tabler Y they said and itās Highway 39 that is shut down. Millions of dollars of equipment. Rick S. is that close to your folkās place?
About 10-15 trucks on one side and about that many on the other side is what I meant to say. Couldnāt get hitting the X to let me erase my last post to correct it.
Our President said last night that $2.00 a gallon for gas was kind of nice. Easy for him to say because evidently he doesnāt have any mineral royalty or have a job in Oklahoma that is going away. Guess he and the lottery winner which is just over 1.5 Billion tonight wonāt lose any sleep over the oil prices!
lol sometimes these are too smart for their own good!
Donāt know much about who sells oil to whom but did hear the other day on the news that China sells oil to North Korea. I donāt really think anyone knows when and how much the oil will rise in price but like you I hope itās soon. Iām wishing our refineries would make the remodeling necessary to use our lighter oil instead of having to import the thick stuff to mix with ours. Anyone know if any plans are being made to accomplish that?
Hubby left for his dentist at Marlow yesterday early in case he had to deal with the heavy traffic down through the diggings that we had only a few months ago and he said there WASNāT any. He couldnāt believe it. My computer spell check wouldnāt let me write diggins.
Hutch- you still out there? Awfully quietā¦
Now they are saying āDrilling Rigā involved in the fire.
Yeah Jen, Iām still here, just kind of ran out of things to say. Thanks for asking, I hope you are all doing good and looking forward to a good year in 2017.
I believe that ālakeā Richard asked about was the water supply used to frack the Poteet #1.
The information I received at Halliburton was it started with a vendor fuel truck
Thanks Ron. I called you the other day but I got your voicemail.
Sounds good but I donāt think H.H.'s credibility is very high right now.
Chinaās slowing economy and not needing oil to sustain it, plus OPEC and the Saudis keeping prices low to break the shale boom is what is keeping oil low. Good for consumers, but a nightmare for the oil industry. All analysts Iāve read expect it to dip to $10 a barrel and stay under $30 this year. Of course anything can happen. One thing that we know, is in 2009, the recovery was strong and quick. We can all hope for the same this time.
