Anyone have any current information on the multiunit horizontal well proposal in Sections 15, 16, 21, 22, 27, 28 Township 1 South, Range 4 West in Stephens County, OK. handled by Continental Resources? My last info was a new hearing before the Commission on April 16, 2024, to make an amendment to allocations between units. The well had been drilled but not completed at that time.
If you have the case number from the OCC, that would be more helpful to post. There were quite a few wells proposed. Are you asking about the McCrae wells?
Thank you for your quick response. My correspondence is from two different mailings with the same lands covered.
Cause CD No. 2023-002688 which I believe may be Hondo and I think is paying out. The other is Cause CD No. 2023-002686 which may be Gus McCrae but does not show Section 15 involvement.

Stephen’s County is seeing a lot of drilling. Have you signed any leases previously? We have been getting many mailings.
My May 25 check from Continental contained payment for the Hondo 2-22-15XHM. Check covered production from Feb. 2024 through April 2025 for oil and Feb. 2024 through March 2025 for gas. I believe this is the well you are inquiring about but I have not pulled out my CD papers to verify. It is really interesting to see the data for an entire year in one check and realize exactly how quickly the production volume plummets. Next check won’t be as nice.
Our mineral interest in Sec 15 has been bound and producing by a lease initiated years ago. My last correspondence regarding the horizontal described was a mailing received from Continental’s Rep. Hartzog dated 2/7/24. Nothing since. I’m not really sure my location is involved with McCrae even though I get cause mailings. I’m W/2 NW/4 of Section 15 Township 1 South Range 4 West.
Teresa, My mineral interests in 15 do involve Hondo 2-22-15XHM. My question on this post was if my mineral interest in 15 are in anyway involved with Gus McCrae. That’s what I’m trying to figure out. Is Gus McCrae drilled and producing and, if so, have any payments gone out.
The McCrae wells are in 16 & 21. Sec 15 has the Village and Hondo wells.

My confusion comes from cause mailings I’ve received regarding McCrae where Sec. 15 is thrown in with Sections 16, 21, 22, 27 and 28. Often these mailings are difficult to understand to the average mineral owner but I believe I’ve figured this one out and no McCrae involvement for us.

When a company is going to drill several sections in sequence, they often bundle the sections together.
