We just learned that we have some mineral rights in the Thompson Well 1-31h. We are told there may some interest paid on those mineral rights, because no one has ever contacted us. The well began producing in 2012. We may have 80 acres, been in our family since the 1800s.
What do they pay interest on ... oil, gas, lease....?
Any help out there..?

How does a lease work... one time check for what period of time. How can I find out what the pooling numbers were for this property in 2012-2017. We are supposed to get some money shortly, maybe even interest & some produce monies too....

They have found all of the family, but have lied to us, since XTO contacted some family about 2 years ago & finding the family wasn't hard, because we all had contact & we had SocSec cards..., addresses & so on.
we got a check for 1760 dollars for the time period fro 01-13 thru 03-17. No interest & no bonus money yet. It seems our grandparents sold off some rights, now we have 15 net.
