Hi, I inherited my grandma’s mineral rights on property in Smith County, Texas, I found out when a Landman contacted me and paid me a sum of $500 for drilling for 5 years and it had been dried for a long time. How do I go about finding the area of the mineral rights? And if they are still drilling? ty

You can start looking on the Texas Railroad commission site. You will need the description from your inheritance documents or your lease.
