I have mineral rights in Talco, Texas that is not currently leased. Exxon Mobil had a previous lease with me about 20 years ago. I understand there is a Lithium interest and wonder if either Exxon Mobil or Chevron has some interest in my portion of land. Thanks.

I’ve read somewhere that the bulk of the lithium is located in Arkansas ![]()
I also read somewhere that the leasing numbers are quite different from gas leases.
Best of luck ![]()
If your name and address and description of your acreage is properly filed in the county courthouse, the landmen will find you if they are interested.
The majority of the interest is in S. Arkansas and N. Louisiana right now. Some interest in East Texas. You can use a search engine to get ask for a Smackover map and then zoom in to see your county and its relationship to the play. The Texas counties with high-grade concentrations of Lithium are Cass, Franklin, Morris, Titus and parts of Anderson and Cherokee.
