I have a 640 acre lease held by production. In May the shutdown the well and no longer send a check. Do they still hold that acreage or can it be leased to someone else?
Does your lease have a shut-in clause? Is it an oil or gas well?
It’s a oil and gas lease signed in 2008 they put one well and never developed further. I’ll have to look for a shut-in clause. I don’t recall seeing that though.
