I’m trying to lease my West Virginia gas rights and have interested companies, but they insist on shut-in provision with no time limits and little $ per acre during shut-in. I’m willing to allow perhaps 2 to 4 years, but I don’t want to die with my gas shut in for decades. What experience are others having in negotiating shut-in?
