I’ve been wondering when/if I’d get a shut in notice on anything. One came today.
Have not seen one myself, can you provide the verbage? Was this on a new well, old well, gas well, oil well, etc. Way things are and the way NG is kind of expecting some for the family wells.
This was a fairly new gas well (not quite 2 years). They indicated the shut in was due to the effects of the virus on oil and gas prices and were doing so in order to “protect the value of my interest…”
I saw a shut-in notice towards the end of April for something in Frio County (Eagle Ford), with reason being that the oil purchaser was curtailing purchases. That operator recently sent out another letter saying that on or around July 1, they would be restarting production. I would think there would be plenty of folks on here with a Permian Basin interest who got shut-in, though.
