We signed a mineral rights lease and royalty through Lowry Land Co. in 2025. We haven’t been kept in the loop on who is actually drilling here or progress? How do we know when or if this is producing and how to track when or if we should be receiving royalties?
You will receive notices from the OCC for pending activity if your name and address are on file with the county. Since you were leased, then they probably know about you. You can watch for permits on the OCC well records site. They may often be in the sections contiguous to yours. Which section, township and range?
TOWNSHIP 06 SOUTH, RANGE 08 EAST
Section 15: NE/4 SE/4, containing 40.00 acres, more or less
There was a lot of leasing in that township over the last two years, so something may be about to happen. WSR and Continental have OCC cases and permits in 7S-8E just to the south of you. Continental is on site with a rig now. I do not see any OCC cases yet, but they will come before any drilling. The current activity is for horizontal Woodford wells. Hang tight and see what develops!
