Sherman County Activity

Received an offer on my minerals in Sections 411, 7, 33 and 41. Does anyone know of any new activity in these areas?

If you are talking about Sec. 411 and Sec. 7 in Blk 3T of the T&NO RR Survey, recent drilling by Pantera may have prompted that offer you got.

On the Railroad Commission map below Sections 411 and 7 are outlined in red. The blue dots show six locations where Pantera filled permits for new vertical wells last September and October. The well names and permit dates are on the list below the map.

An additional well, called the Pantera A.D. Foreman, isn’t marked on the map but was completed in January, 2022 in Section 446 that is adjacent to the south boundary of Section 411.

The only completion reports Pantera has filed so far on those wells show the Foreman tested at 300 MCF/day, the First State Bank at 135 and the E.F Hudson at 165/day.

That isn’t a lot of gas, but like you probably know they only have to drill 3000’ and a lot of those Hugoton wells are still going after 20+ years.
