Negotiating lease with Suprise Valley in Leon County for mineral rights in Abstract 238. They want me to participate in production cost. I do not feel comfortable with this at all. Please advise
That offer is common. You do not have to participate. You can just lease. It would be very wise to get a good oil and gas attorney to review the draft lease as they are not in the mineral owner’s favor and can hold your family for decades.
