My mother inherited 2 wells in Wood County. She receives royalties monthly though not much, The royalties are split between several family members. I know the wells have been in the family for several generations and I doubt they have ever been serviced. I have worked in the oil service industry and know about the process, though I do not know anything about how to go about getting the wells serviced or information regarding their service history. The royalty checks come from XTO, though I have had no luck getting hold of an actual person to talk to. I have left voicemails, emails and sat on hold for 30-45 minutes several times.
Could anyone possibly shed some light on this for me?
