I am part of a 20 member family group owning 120 NMA in Cooke and Grayson County, Texas.

We’ve been approached in the last 3 months by 4 landmen on behalf of 2 or more companies.

Some questions as I’m just getting started.

  1. Why would they want to buy vs. lease?
  2. General way to evaluate offer price & terms? Does an attorney help?
  3. What is causing the activity?
  4. Offer is $2330/NMA - thoughts?
