I am part of 20 member family group owning 120 NMA in Cooke & Grayson Co, Texas.

We’ve been approached in the last 3 months by 4 landmen of behalf of 2 or more companies.

Some question as I’m just getting started.

  1. Why would they want to buy vs. lease?
  2. General way to evaluate offer price & terms ? Does an attorney help ?
  3. What is causing the activity ?
  4. Offer is $2330/NMA - thoughts ?
