Does anyone know if there is any activity on Section 74, Blk 4 and Section 44, Blk 4? Right now this is under lease with Anadarko. I have not been able to get back down to the Pecos area as of late so I don't know if there is any well activity or any permits that may have been issued either on that land or near by. That lease is due to expire not too long down the road. It is currently under a $1500/per acre lease.
I also have Section 75, which does have a well on it (Hermosa), although it has been having some issues over the past few years.

Do you happen to know the Abstract #'s of your minerals? There are several Sec. 74, Block 4 in Reeves County.

how many sec are in Blk54 T4? Reeves county I always thought 36 sec to a township. Is a sec still 640 acres?
A section is still 640 acres. The subject heading had one too many "4s" but it was corrected in the comment. It should have read Block 4, not Block 44.

Some of the surveying back in the late 1800's may have not been exactly perfect. For instance I have found some Abstract numbers not to be numbers but ? marks.(just question marks) I'm surprised that the surveyors did as well as they did.
