Turned down a lease offer in 1995 from shell E&P inc. I now want to lease this area for drilling.

I own some mineral rights in the adjoining section to the east (section 504) which was leased to Shell in this
same time frame. The lease was subsequently sold to Occidental. If anybody would have an interest in it, Occidental might. You could give them a try.

Here's what I have. It's pretty close, but they may have to forward your call or letter. They are a large company, so be patient, and keep trying. If you don't get phone results, try sending a letter. As you know, Oxy is the largest operator of the Wasson field.

You can probably get their attention if you tell them you have a large tract of minerals adjoining the Wasson field, and a tract which you declined to lease in the past.
On my section (504), there is still one very good well, and seems like a few that they quit pumping. However, to my knowledge this section has not been flooded yet, and secondary recovery is certainly something Oxy is good at. A larger tract like yours, in combination with adjoining sections, might interest them.
