Hi, I have an interest in Section 35, Township 19 North, Range 4 West, Logan County, Oklahoma. When pooling hearings started last June, a landman for Slawson was all over my family trying to set up a lease. We talked on the phone, sent a lot of e-mails back and forth, etc. We have not heard from him since 9/29/13 even though we told him we were ready to sign a lease. John, you may already know about this, but you’re not too far from Section 20 (SW 1/4), the 1st Oil Boom in Logan County. McCully gusher in 1926 or 1927 (going off of my failing memory lol).
I would suggest checking with Logan County clerk to see if you can find an active Oil and Gas Company nearby. Good luck!
