Has anyone around this area been approached to lease lately?
My family has 130 acres we would like to lease.
Equal Energy out of OKC offered us $100.00 an acre for 3/16 in Lincoln County, Section 30, Township 15 North, Range 5 East. There is a request for pooling order with CC on March 4th. We did not lease but took our chances on pooling order. They want to drill a horizontal well in the Hunton.

I think they are fishing and what they find in the early wells will influence lease prices in the future. Horizontal drilling is in early stages in this area.
