Have received lease offer of $100 an acre from Compass Land Resources? Anyone have any information here? Is this a reasonable offer? Also, they want a 3-year lease with a 3-year option (!).
I had an offer of $250 recently in a different area. But they wouldn’t go for 20% royalty so I said no. I have never agreed to an extension on a lease because it is to their advantage. Who can tell the future? Certainly not me. If things are better, you get a better lease.
