My husband signed an oil and gas lease with Chesapeake Exploration, L.L.C. on the above property on April 22, 2010. Following the signing of the lease, Chesapeake Operating, Inc., and Chesapeake Exploration, LLC, filed a request with the Corporation Commission of Oklahoma to establish the initial boundaries of the Big Lime common source of gas supply so as to cover and include Section 3, Township 17 North, Range 26 West. That was done December 14, 2011.
It was a three-year lease. We live in Florida and never had any further correspondence from Chesapeake. How can he find out if there is any activity on this lease. He is going to deed those mineral rights to our daughter and want to be able to tell here what happened. Thanks.
