Has anyone heard of any new drilling in these sections. Rimrock drilled 2 in or through 30 and one in 29.All three were decent oil and gas producers. They have approved 640 spacing. Just wondering.
Hi Don. As a general rule, operators are focused on drilling wells that will hold leases that will expire. One exception is where they have drilled a barn-burner well that generates a lot of cash.
If they already have a commercial well holding 640 acres (or 1280 acres), they don’t concentrate on development wells. The “development well” potential is the blue sky they will sell at some future date.
