I have mineral rights on Section 24, Block 1 in Pecos County. When I looked on the Texas RRC Public GIS Viewer I saw a green circle. Can someone with much more knowledge let me know if this is a working well?.
Trying to look this up for you, but it appears that Block 1 in Pecos County only has sections 2 thru 7.
This block is a long narrow strip of tracts that runs NW to SE.
Is it possible you have the section designation incorrect? Do you have an abstract number for your section?
I see 4 possibilities - Sec 24, Blk 1, GC&SF RR Survey A-5479; Sec 24, BLk 1, H&TC RR Survey A-6030 (Purnton); Sec 24, Blk 1, H&TC RR Co A-8627 (Popham) ; and Sec 24, Blk 1, TC RR Co Survey A-8818.

Abstracts 8818, 5479 & 6030 have no wells ever drilled in those sections.
