I own 20 acres of minerals in Section 23, Township 1 North, Range 2 West that I have leased to Continental Resources. In the last 3 weeks, I have got several offers to buy. The offers run from $2,000 to $3,500 per acre (I am not going to sell). But with 6 offers from different landmen, I was wondering if anyone knows about any activity or rumors of any activity in or around Section 23.
Continental and others are buying up a lot of acreage. I suspect there will be a horizontal drilling program coming soon as Continental just filed several OCC orders on that section In August. If you are not getting them, contact Continental.
