I have mineral rights in Sec 20-9N-4W. EOG Resources has renewed the3 year lease for another 2 years by sending me a check for the original amount of the 3 yr. lease ($500 per acre). Meanwhile I have been getting offers to lease my mineral rights to other companies for up to $5000 per acre. Do I have any options or am I stuck for 2 more years?
If your lease allows the right of the extension, then you’re stuck.
