What is currently going on in the area listed above. I have received two offers to lease mineral rights. There is already one well across hiway 74 and about three blocks west. Offer is from BP through a leasing organization. Offer seems low. Anyone know some going rates around the area?
BP has taken over from Charter Oak and is drilling horizontal wells. Charter Oak had pooled sec 31 in 2017 at $150 at 3/16ths, but they did not get the horizontal drilled in the time frame given.
Okland pooled 80 acres in 16 for $100 3/16 in 2017 for a shallower horizon.
Prices are generally in that range according to the poolings.
