Can anyone tell me what a fair price would be for mineral interest in Grady Co. Sect. 17 6n 5w would be. It is leased, but not producing that much. Thanks, Betty
Considering that section 16 next to you has seven wells by Continental and they control section 17, you probably have potential for more wells. Section 10 has eight horizontal wells. You have one on the east side and one on the west side with plenty of room in the middle. You may be getting letters to buy. They are usually just fishing letters to see if anyone will bite. If you go over to the Springboard topic and look at the map from May 27, you can see your acreage. It is not currently in Continental’s immediate plan for Springboard, but is right on the edge which may help with pricing. It all depends upon if you need the funds now or are willing to wait on potential future royalties.
