I heard there is a well including section 13 block 33. Any details? I heard they are adjoining 23-13 with it. Does that decrease royalties? And I own 21.6 acres of minerals and they say it is three hundred barrels a day is that a low figure. The calculators online say about $2000 a month is that high or about right?
Chipper,
What state and county is your section 13 and block 33 located?
Clint Liles
Borden County Texas
Chipper,
When trying to pull that up on the GIS Map this is the answer I got:
At the end of Block 33 is there a T4N, T2N, T3N or something similar? That is the Township number of that block.

Hey Chipper,
I finally found it. By using the Block 33T3S/Section 13 it still wouldn't come up on the GIS Map so I had to go over the GIS map piece by piece and finally found it. Next time ask for Borden County Abstract 349 and it is easy to find. I find there is a Horizontal well(API # 227-38118 that has been drilled by Tall City Operations in Howard County and extends into your Section 13 in Borden County.
GIS Map of Borden County A-349 and surrounding area:
As far as decreasing yur royalties I cannot answer that question, and I would say 300 BOPD is a decent well. Also remember about the decline in production after the first few months of these Horizontal wells. As far as monthly income on this well it depends on the price of oil and the decline rate of the well. Good luck on your well.

Thanks Clint. One last question. My father was willed an extra portion the lease company called non participating royalties. What exactly are they good for and how for the least money could I get them verified?
Chipper,
check out this link on non-participating royalties:

Very helpful. I got a good understanding. Are you a land man Mr. Liles? I may need one before this is over. Tall City told me in the beginning that I definitely had n.p.r.i's. Then later said they weren't sure. And it sounds like they want to save themselves some money. If it came right down to it, where would I go to find someone to tell me for sure how many I do or do not have? I just want to help my son stay in college. He is a chemical engineering student and doing very well, but the expenses are beginning to stack up.
I at least understand now that they are simply shares in royalty but right now every dime helps.
Hey if you are ever in Big Spring I would like to buy you a hamburger for all your help. 432 466 3943 One good turn deserves another. GOD bless you.
