I own 7.875 nma on Sect 27 06n 06w, and I’ve been offered this amount pnma that is currently at 1/8th royalty.
Any time I receive an offer to buy my acreage, I am sure that someone knows something and they are pretty sure they will make a profit off of whatever they offer. Are you aware that you have in increased density case and six more wells about to be online? Folks who are buying want your royalties. I would call the offer low in my opinion and I would not sell.
That is the equivalent of $35,000/ac at 3/16th. That is an absolutely unbelievable offer, especially for your section. Very good wells up north of you, but goodness, that is one heck of an offer. Gonna take either you or the buyer a looooong time to make that money back, IF you/they ever do…
I am not really wanting to sell, however, if the price is right, I would. I mean if I were offered 250,000.00 for the 7.875 mineral acres, I might just would do it to reinvest elsewhere…
I do know that they know something more about the formations than we do…
