Hello we have been approached by ES3 Minerals to sell our interest in ~4 NMA acres of land. Does anyone know anything this company or what sort of offer we should be expecting. I am not comfortable with the lack of details on their offer. If we agree to sell, they want a letter of agreement before proceeding. It’s a online signature form. I don’t know if that is common or not.

Moved this over to Upton County. You need quite a bit more information. How much are they offering, what is their time frame? Never turn over a deed without getting a check at that same moment. Find out what production or leasing is going on around you. Most offers are low and require negotiation. Ask yourself why you would need to sell. “need” vs “want” Do you have heirs that would benefit from keeping the land, etc.
