I executed a Lease with Shiloh Oil Company on 2/24/2023 but principals of Shiloh refused to pay agreed lease bonus and have canceled the lease. Despite my repeated requests for an executed and recordable Release document I have had no response. Am concerned this ties up my interests. Any suggestions?
I have seen affidavits of non- payment filed when no payment was made to extend a lease. Should your lease be filed, that might be a start.
