Sec. 21 and 29, Grady County ,oklahoma

Can anyone tell me what minerals are leasing for in this area and are there any permits?

Township and Range from the legal description would be needed as there are several Section 21 and 29s in Grady County.

There is also a Grady County area that would be worth reading through the history.

According to Oklahoma Mineral Registry, revised as of March 1, 2013, number of new wells in Grady County is 82 with the average lease payment of $1,000.00 and the highest lease payment of $1,600.00 per acre. Good luck!

Gail,

Things like the Okla Mineral Registry and US Lease Price report by Lierle are just not that accurate compared to what I am personally seeing. Lierle is quoting a high of over twice what OMR is.

But the big problem with these publications is that they treat everything in the county the same. In Stephens County based on a 3/16 RI you will easily see in excess of $2500 in parts of the NE portion. Go to the south border in the Western 2/3rds of the county and you’ll be lucky if you can get $25 to $50 “IF” you can even get a lease.

Well I just wish we had more in Stephens County…we leased a long time ago but I will have to say it has been one outstanding well!!! We have interest in many counties in Oklahoma but the one that seems to really be lacking interest is Murray!!! Wish someone was doing more exploring there!!
